The role of the Holy Spirit is to lead you in truth.

“However, when He, the Spirit of truth, has come, He will guide you into all truth; for He will not speak on His own authority, but whatever He hears He will speak; and He will tell you things to come.” ‭‭John‬ ‭16‬:‭13‬ ‭NKJV‬‬‬‬‬‬‬

God’s leading is always based on the truth of his word and his unchanging nature. The Holy Spirit leads us in the ways and purposes of God. He leads us to attempt the impossible by faith.
